Elephants go Marching One by One

IMG_2771.JPGThis is one of the first pieces I sold when I did the HopArts show in October (along with a fox piece that I didn’t even think to get a picture of). I had an inquiry about another one, so being me, I couldn’t create just one. 😉

I love playing with variations, and I’d created a mold of the central elephant sculpture that I’d done, so here they are. (The outside frame and texturing is hand sculpted for each one) The first one is closest to the original except that I used my new fair trade sari silk ribbons to string it on:

The second one demanded a bit more glitter and glam so it got a touch of gold and chain:

And in this version, I was looking through my stringing materials and found this lovely turquoise suede lace that really brought out the color:

They all look pretty darn cool. You choose the best ribbons and such for findings, bringing out the best of your pendants!
